Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, support patients and their families, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and educating patients about their health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing protocols, assessing patient conditions, and responding to their needs promptly.
  • Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitoring: Monitor patient vitals and health status, documenting any changes and communicating effectively with the medical team.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and treatment options, ensuring they understand their care plans.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and monitoring for side effects.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Crisis Management: Respond to medical emergencies, providing appropriate interventions and supporting the medical team in critical situations.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to enhancing patient care standards and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license in the state of practice.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; associate degree may be accepted.
  • 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a hospital or acute care environment.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
